    reasonable rate
    convenient location
    noise disturbance
    limited breakfast
    dated amenities

The reasonable room rate made this stay appealing, especially close to many attractions. The room was spacious with a mini fridge and microwave, creating a homey feel. However, noise from the nearby road was bothersome, especially in the morning. Although the shower provided plenty of hot water and ample towels, I found the lack of a continental breakfast option disappointing. Nearby local shops were a nice addition, particularly the bakery with excellent pastries.

The Economy Inn Historic District was an excellent choice for our group stay! We booked 2 rooms on the second floor, and they were clean and modern with comfortable king and double beds. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Castillo de San Marcos and many great local restaurants. Plus, having free parking was a huge plus!

The stairs to the second floor were a bit narrow.

Helpful staff provided great local tips.

We experienced frustrating noise from the street that kept us awake at night. The room was quite dated and not what I expected. Additionally, the absence of any continental breakfast option was disappointing.

unexpected warmth in a quaint inn

My partner and I were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality! Every morning, the owner greeted us with tips and smiles, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect for exploring downtown, all within a comfortable walking distance.

While the room was terrific, I wished they had a wider selection of toiletries. the soap could really use an upgrade for a complete experience.

The Queen Room was super clean and comfortable with nice linens. Free parking was a lifesaver! However, I did notice it got a bit loud from the street at night, and the stairs to the second floor are pretty narrow. Still, the owners were welcoming and gave great tips about the area. I’d definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good deal near all the sights!

It was just an optimal selection for a city escape in St Augustine with excellent value for money. The owner provided a helpful map and suggested great spots to check out, which made our stay even better. Make sure to try visiting attractions early to beat the crowds.
